The Terramor master planned community project spanned three potable water pressure zones and 2 non-potable water zones. In order to complete the 2nd phase of the master planned community, tanks were necessary for the 1509 potable and 1484 non-potable systems. Adkan Engineers coordinated the site selection, layout and grading in the complex, bedrock laden hills above the Temescal Valley. In addition to site grading and drainage, calculations were prepared for the 18’ tall retaining walls necessary to support the site and protect adjacent endangered plant species as well as emergency tank rupture mitigation measures and coordination of blasting.
